Medical Director – Awarded Practitioner of the Year!

Our Medical Director Dr. Debra M. Barnett has been awarded the Practitioner of the Year Award by the Florida Psychiatric Society for her work in psychiatry! The mission of the FPS is a professional association committed to continuously improving the ability of more than 1,200 psychiatrist members to provide quality treatment for persons with mental illnesses. Dr. Barnett is an extremely valued member of the Coalition Recovery team and we are truly honored to call her one of our own. Dr. Barnett has over two decades of experience in psychiatry with emphasis on addiction and co-occurring disorders. She has helped educate the proper treatment of co-occurring disorders for the Tri-County services for nearly 10 years. Today Dr. Debra M Barnett runs her own private practice and is a chapter president of the Florida Psychiatric Society for the Tampa Bay area. Aside from her work with persons with co-occurring disorders, Dr. Debra Barnett is board certified in General Psychiatry, Geriatric Psychiatry, Addiction Psychiatry, and Forensic Psychiatry.
